At the Curtis Institute of Music I curated nine in-house and online exhibits featuring the history of the school, which tied in with particular celebrations and events, and included many new findings. Subjects ranged from the school’s founder and the concert hall, to the string quartet tradition at Curtis and student life.

In 2007 I curated the exhibit ‘Capturing China, 1913–1929: Photographs, Films and Letters of Diplomat John Van Antwerp MacMurray’ based on the materials in the John Van Antwerp MacMurray papers. The peaceful tranquility of MacMurray’s photographs and films of city and rural scenes provide a sharp contrast with the ongoing civil war in China, which was overtaken by Chiang Kai-Shek’s National Party during MacMurray’s tenure.

In 2006 I curated the exhibit ‘Student, Scholar, President: Robert F. Goheen at Princeton, 1936-2006’  working together with the University Archivist. The exhibit, based on the President’s Papers and Goheen’s personal papers, was part of the celebration of Goheen’s 70-year association with the University.
